Calm, expert-led antenatal workshops designed to prepare you for specific aspects of birth and early parenting.

Baby On Board workshops offer focused, midwife-led preparation across key areas of pregnancy and early parenting — helping you build confidence in the areas that matter most to you.

Birth preparation • Newborn care • Feeding. sleep • Baby & Child first aid • Grandparents

These sessions are ideal for families who:

want to explore specific topics in more depth

prefer individual sessions rather than a full course

have attended other classes but still have questions

All workshops are taught by expert midwives working within local maternity services, bringing real clinical experience into every session.

Newborn Sleep Foundations

Calm, realistic preparation for understanding your baby’s sleep in the early weeks.

This clinically grounded antenatal workshop helps you understand how newborn sleep actually works — so you can approach the early weeks with realistic expectations and calm confidence.

Rather than focusing on routines or sleep training, the session explores normal infant sleep development and how to respond to your baby’s needs in a way that feels manageable, informed and reassuring.

Topics Include:

What normal newborn sleep looks like

Realistic expectations for the early weeks

How infant sleep develops in the early months

Understanding safe sleep guidance and how it applies in real life

Building calm sleep foundations from birth

Led by an expert midwife who is also a qualified infant sleep consultant, bringing both clinical experience and specialist sleep knowledge into every session.

We finally felt confident after our course — it was completely different to larger group classes.
