Informed by current maternity guidance and decades of clinical experience, we provide small-group antenatal preparation and personalised midwife support across Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells and West Kent.
We help families approach appointments and decisions with clarity and confidence.
Choosing the right preparation or support during pregnancy can feel like a big decision.
If you’d like to speak with a midwife before booking anything, you’re always welcome to arrange a short conversation.
We’re happy to talk through your stage of pregnancy, your birth plans, or any questions you may have.
Baby On Board is led by Carly and Amy, practising midwives who have supported families across local maternity services since 2000.
Together they bring decades of clinical experience across both high-risk and physiological birth settings, alongside specialist expertise in antenatal education, infant feeding, newborn sleep and birth preparation.
Every class and consultation is shaped by real clinical experience — not scripted teaching.
Before your first maternity appointment, early pregnancy can feel like a long wait without clear guidance.
Our Early Pregnancy Guide fills the gap between a positive pregnancy test and the start of your maternity care.
Written by expert midwives, it offers calm, evidence-based insight into your first trimester — helping you understand what’s happening, what to expect next and how to approach the early weeks with confidence.
For many families, this is the first stop on their journey with Baby On Board.
Pregnancy often brings a flood of information — but not always a clear picture of how everything fits together.
Our Birth Confidence Map™ is a visual guide created by practising midwives to help you understand the key elements of labour and birth preparation.
It helps you see the bigger picture so you can approach birth feeling informed, capable and prepared.
Our Baby On Board Antenatal Routes™ are structured midwife-led programmes designed to prepare families for labour, birth and early parenting.
Delivered in intentionally small groups of no more than 6–8 couples, our preparation is grounded in physiology, current maternity guidance and real clinical experience.
Families leave feeling informed, capable and ready to engage with their maternity care with clarity and confidence.

Understanding infant sleep before your baby arrives can make the early weeks far less overwhelming.
Our Newborn Sleep Foundations workshop explores how babies sleep biologically and how parents can respond with confidence from the very beginning.
This calm, practical session helps families approach the early weeks with realistic expectations and supportive strategies.
Alongside our group programmes, we offer personalised antenatal and postnatal midwife support for families seeking more tailored guidance.
This includes individual birth preparation, feeding support, newborn and infant sleep guidance, postnatal troubleshooting and reassurance.
Some families combine this support with their Antenatal Route, while others seek individual consultations as their needs evolve during pregnancy or after birth.
Our most comprehensive offering, The First Class Journey™, provides continuity-led midwife care throughout pregnancy and early parenthood.
This pathway combines structured antenatal education with ongoing antenatal and postnatal midwife support, allowing families to receive consistent care from midwives who understand their story from the beginning.
To ensure attentive, high-quality care we work with a limited number of families each year.
We are practising midwives with decades of clinical experience.
We teach in intentionally small groups where discussion and questions are welcomed.
Our preparation is grounded in physiology, current maternity guidance and real maternity care practice.
For families seeking deeper support, we offer continuity-led midwife care that extends beyond education.
This is preparation delivered with clarity, expertise and intention.
